Description: My audition for VarRomar's amazing contest last Sunset! It looks so simple in the end, but I almost went nuts with all the layers and effects and typography and colouring... oh well, here it is! I just hope it's good enough! xP Story: Lilo is a seven years old girl, she's in the car with a social worker: she has just been taken away from her family and she's on her way to her new home, though obviously she's not really happy about it. The driver gets distracted and doesn't notice the little deer on the street, as they hit him he stops the car and gets out to check on the animal (he doesn't say what happened to Lilo cause 'sorry, we might have just killed Bambi' wasn't exactly something that he wanted to add to Lilo's bad day). He doesn't realise he's leaving the car open, and Lilo takes advantage of the situation and runs away. As she finds a fence in the woods she understands she must be close to some house, so she follows it and reaches widow Tweed's house. The old woman is surprised to see a little girl all alone, but nonetheless she invites her in and tells her she can stay as long as she wants. Lilo is reluctant at first, but soon she comes to enjoy the situation. Notes: - I'm not claiming Winston, I just needed a face character to cover the role of the driver/social worker, the only character I'm claiming is Lilo - When Lilo runs away she doesn't head home, just away from the social worker. If I'll get in hopefully I'll be able to explore more her reasons as well as her past - Lilo doesn't know yet that she can't leave, at the moment she's actually quite happy to be where she is. - Yup, I just killed Bambi in the video XD - If I do get in, I'd love to plot with as many people as possible! :D Dialogues (in case the typography wasn't clear enough): Driver: Are you enjoying the view? Driver: I'm sure you'll love your new home Lilo: whatever... Lilo: what was that? Driver: I... I don't know... wait here, I'll go check it out Driver: Lilo? Driver: Lilo! Lilo: hello? Widow Tweed: I thought I heard som- Widow Tweed: Little girl! Wait! Widow Tweed: Hello little one Widow Tweed: where are your parents? Lilo: I don't know... I got lost... Widow Tweed: oh, you poor thing... Lilo: Will you send me away? Widow Tweed: Of course not! Widow Tweed: stay as long as you like Lilo: well... thanks...
